Ace Union Of Worlds Gunship:

Overview:
The Ace is the Unions ground attack gunship and provides constant aerial support to troops on the ground. The Ace is a lot larger than other races dedicated gunships but this is because the Union never skimps on areas of importance, while some gunships may be lightly armoured this is not the case of the Ace, its armour and even shield generator allow it to shrug off AA for it to be able to carry out its strike or even destroy the AA itself. Armed with extreme Anti tank and anti infantry weaponry the Aces true weakness like other gunships is its vulnerability to fast air. In this regard the Firestorm is preferred for its perfect versatility but the Ace like the Eagle Eye bomber are intended for specific roles and so will always excel at these particular areas. An Ace performing a pop up attack is often the last thing an opponent sees.
Capabilities:

Armament wise The Ace mounts a 100mm Gatling cannon capable of 80 rounds a minute and perfectly able to shred tanks and infantry alike. This is equipped with in built nano assemblers and void cooling. It also mounts 2 rotary rocket pods which can switch between AT, HI EX or Incendiary rockets which can blanket an area due to a high RoF. These too have nano assemblers. Finally the Ace has a read mounted cascade cannon for dealing with enemies behind the craft and a top mounted AI controlled cascade cannons to give some sort of AA defence to the gunship

Defensive measures and armour wise The Ace is heavily armoured, equipped with 25mmmm of quantum lattice plate it is also equipped with a mark 3 shield generator to stop enemy fire.

Electronic abilities wise the Ace mounts a hacking array and a missile and smart ordinance destruction package which detonates ordinance close to the gunship. It also carries numerous flare and chaff launchers and also is equipped with a dead man’s weapon if required. When activated the Ace can cause a localised EMP burst which will destroy all enemy aircraft in the vicinity though this also includes friendlies and so is hardly used apart from in last ditch scenarios.

Speed wise the Ace is incredibly Fast able to go up to Mach 4 though it usually operates as a platform with its jets allowing it to hover for combat, This allows the Ace to go from very high speeds to stationary in a few seconds.

Lifter variant: Due to the Aces large size there is also a variant which is just as seen if not more than the gunship variant. This variant trades its rocket pods and under mounted cascade cannon for the ability to carry up to two Seraphim MBT or one Titan heavy tank into combat. These have a high attrition rate but due to their heavy armour and shields this could be a lot higher.
