Despite EPAs large presence in Rubikon the EPA fleet protecting their still quite under construction superweapon the Z1 had set about withdrawing from the battlefield since the start of the engagement. Attempting to get the Z1 out of harms way. Upon dumping all of their munitions to assist the reinforcing APP fleets the EPA force including the Z1 charged their wormhole drives and withdrew from the battle in a series of random wormhole plots to try shake off tracking, covered by the IEs bio fleets that moved in system to assist as well. The AGA called for BSO to track the Z1 who managed to track it to the edge of Dectrose space, but with EPA out of the battle and the IE now fully in Rubikon still hung in the balance.
