Description

Ceremony class Eos Consortium Heavy Cruiser:

Overview: The mainstay of the Eos fleets are comprised of Heavy Cruisers. Favoring large ships due to their combat doctrine and tactics of jumping in quick with unrivaled crippling AOE hitting power the Ceremony class acts like a heavier virtue, designed to go after large ships and smash them at close range with titanically powerful kinetic waves, or engage multiple at once including destroying multiple escort sized vessels. Ceremony classes often work alongside smaller ships or battleships to help increase the power of the kinetic wave attacks to insane levels.

Armament: The Ceremony class heavy cruiser is only armed with a kinetic wave projector, as well as thousands of projector units.

Defenses: The Ceremony class mounts a super elastic metallic-crystalline hull, which while not giving much defense at all vs solid projectiles is able to give some defense vs energy weapons and even self-repair at a very, very slow rate. Along with this the Ceremony class shield generators project basic energy shields able to protect the ship from stellar hazards however these same projectors also co project the main kinetic weapon which sort of acts like an aggressive shield however if either goes down additional projectors can be activated.

Power plant: powering the Ceremony class are three Consortium Singularity cores. After being investigated by the Union it was discovered the Eos power cores are loosely based on Nakai quantum cores, however they are far far less powerful. Requiring large amounts of fuel when being refueled and being potentially devastatingly destructive if breached the cores do however produce incredible amounts of power for the Eos ships to power their titanic weapon systems and FTL drives and more.

Electronic capabilities: The Ceremony class has an integrated VI system which works alongside the crew to help them carry out tasks and process data, an Eos captain may integrate into the VI system to get a personal and real-time update on all battlefield instances. As well as this Eos sensor systems are some of the best in the galaxy, using the very fabric of reality the Consortium VI can identify enemy vessels ‘indents’ as anything in the universe interacts as an indent in some way. Even phase or dimensional stealth requires some sort of tie to the original dimension or universe so they can re materialize and the sensor system can identify these methods too.

Stealth: The Consortium doesn’t believe in stealth and has no stealth systems as it is forbidden in their holy edict.

Crew: The Ceremony class carries 7000 crew, as well as 600 Eos Paladins.

Attack craft: The Herald mounts 4 hangar bays each containing 1000 Patron interceptors and 500 Rapture bombers.

Speed and engines: The Ceremony mounts a Gravimetric drive for in system travel at sub-light speeds as well as a Consortium Desync FTL drive. Which works by ‘desnycing’ the ship out of the Universe, this causes relativity problems and causes physics to instantly force the ship back into sync with reality however the drive works in such a way that it can manipulate where the ship comes back out into a desired location. However these drives are not without risk. Ships can jump out and never come back, lost forever outside reality, or they can resync somewhere else completely or off mark sometimes jumping into enemy ships destroying both. And so it is far from infallible.
