Yol’Thua Nakai MBT:

Overview:

The Nakai use technology far surpassing anything the Union or any other race can produce. The Nakai MBT the Yol’Thua is another example of this, most races when building a MBT either have to sacrifice one of the 3 main tank principles to improve another or end up with a all-rounder which is less effective at all of these. The Nakai tank is the perfect balance of each, speed, armour and firepower are all greater than any other tank and though the Yol’Thuas appearance may be passive looks are deceiving. Armed and powered by a smaller star than those mounted on the great Deliverance Engines it is no less deadly, able to project beams which turn other vehicles into molten slag and produce waves of fire or radiation which fry infantry or electronics this vehicle is something to fear. The speed of this tank as well outstrips even other hover tanks and its armour and shields make it only equal to some colossi in combat. Overall the Yol’Thua is to be feared, and having found hundreds of them on the Nakai armoury world of Gor'Rakath the Union is happy to make use of them. However these machines are now pitted against their Union counterparts in the current war usually with entire Seraphim platoons being destroyed before the Yol'Thua is brought down by sheer weight of fire.

Capabilities:

Armament wise the Yol’Thua houses as its core and primary armament a harnessed star. This star is volatile and the containment can be modulated to fire a number of different modes, it can disperse intense heat over an area searing infantry or it could only send out a radiation burst which can fry electronics and kill living creatures. Against vehicles the Yol’Thua really comes into its own, able to fire multiple beams in different direction at once it can melt enemy tanks like butter before a flamethrower, that and if the enemy deploys a super heavy or colossi the Yol’Thua can charge a beam that can punch through armour and shields melting the target utterly. Though the star must recuperate after its firing.

Defensive measures and armour wise The Yol’Thua is protected by 2mm of Athena plate capable of taking nearly all fire and surviving, this is also coupled with a shield generator fed by the star which can survive anything up to a colossi class weaponry.

Electronic abilities wise the Yol’Thua is controlled by a sentient AI and one Nakai crew member OR one of Nakai gene remnant (humans or Cylaurians) the tank then feeds directly to the brain and so a person manipulates the tank as if it was their own body..

Speed wise the Yol’Thua is incredibly fast, able to easily go at 250MPH over any terrain thanks to its gravitic canceller and can also fly at around 150ft above the ground meaning it can function as a gunship as well, this is what makes the tank so dangerous as No enemy can survive a fast aerial attack from one of these beasts.

Destroyer variant: Armed with a low powered version of a Quantum Accelerator Cannon this variant of the Yol,Thua is solely used to kill tanks and armoured vehicles. Not able to use ship powered QAC cannons on the surface due to risk of cracking the planets crust the Low yeild version still has ferocious bite, able to blast apart super heavies easily this variant however lacks anti infantry ability.

Chrono variant: The Chrono variant mounts a larger version of the Chronosceptres used by infantry but on a larger scale, called the Chrono eraser, this weapon is used against infantry though vehicles can be affected. It fires in two ways, either as a shockwave style pulse where all enemies in a certain area are erased from the material world or in a arcing lightning style directed mode which can do the same to enemy vehicles. Like the Destroyer these variants are rarely seen.
