Timeline Part 1: Age Of Giants
250 millions of years ago.
-By the time of the final siege of the So’Kalris Stronghold the galaxy’s oldest surviving sentient species, the Nakai, had endured the consequences of their centennial effort to unify their race under one single rule of law, ranging from political strife, ethnical divisions and outright war against their own in a conflict that was eventually known as the War of Eternal Tears. This colossal political project was born out of their near-extinction five hundred years prior in a large-scale conflict between several Nakai nations that costed them almost the whole half millennium in development. The desire to avoid another such conflict had left the Nakai’s confidence in their many splinter factions at an all-time low, resulting in another, even larger war with the largest of these offshoots, the So’Kalris.

Of this period very little is known other than it was preceded by a significant flare-up in conflict in the region as leaders of the civilizations embark

N’NalaeN, the last remaining Nakai AI, crystallizes beneath standard sentiency level. Isolated from the universe, the Nakai withers, deprived of new resources, phenomena and civilizations to discover and also resources to utilize in their empty dimensional refuge. The towering Athenite constructs that once dominated the span of Nakai civilization are reduced and eroded by the natural decay of the synthetic element that has now become irreplaceable. Having sacrificed their electronic record during the Spring Offensive and their physical record in their final retreat from the galaxy, Nakai science and industry is incapable of comprehending, let alone restarting its technical means. Overpopulation inside what remained of their cities triggers a chain reaction of complete population collapses that scythe through the isolated, inbred masses of survivors. Obscurantism and disease become the norm amongst the Nakai survivors, triggering sev
